We are excited to announce the 1st Sakai Super Tategoi Cup Online Auction, an exclusive opportunity to acquire outstanding Tosai koi from the world-renowned Sakai Fish Farm.
Auction Details:
- Bid Start: October 6th, 8:00 AM (Japan time)
- Bid Deadline: October 8th, 8:00 PM (Japan time) – 10 min intervals
Continuing October 9th, 8:00 PM (Japan time) – 10 min intervals
About the 1st Sakai Super Tategoi Cup:
- Purchased koi will be kept in the newly constructed Victory House (100t) until April 2026.
- Afterward, they will be released into the mud pond and harvested in October 2026.
- At harvest, koi will be divided into male and female categories and judged by Sakai Fish Farm staff. Gender confirmation will be provided after harvest.
- Owners will receive monthly measurements, photos, videos, and growth reports for each koi.
- The top 5 female koi will be eligible for the prestigious SAKAI CUP 5th Anniversary SUPER SAKAI CUP in November 2026, with a total prize pool of 50 million yen.
Guarantee Conditions:
During the one-year keeping period, any cases of color loss, deformity, or death will be fully compensated.
