Hi-Kui Disease also known as red ulcer disease is often seen as a tumor which is found in the hi section of koi fish. The affected area appears to be loosing its red color and blemishes of brown or thin brown take place. Treatment is not well known however reports have shown dietary changes and topical populis has shown some improvements. This may be linked to reports that adrenocortical hormones have an effect on this disease.
