the flange was completely distorted > put the longer screws in and it cracked.

I have the Koi Tiolet I. This product seems to work just fine in my pond. Had a little bit of a tough time on the install but once done...it's done. Nothing wrong after 3 years. I believe it a was a good choice...It is ABS and I would like to see them make a PVC version just to make it more strong.
